Serious injury on trains 2002-2007

For the period 2002-2003 to 2006 to 2007, 910 persons were seriously injured in Australia due to transport accidents involving a train, an average of 182 per year.  253 persons were seriously injured due to a level crossing accident, an average of 51 per year.
