Webinar: The power of workplace connections to improve wellbeing & how this can improve job satisfaction (15 April).

In rail and other safety-critical environments, strong workplace connections are more than a well-being issue – they support communication, situational awareness, and safe decision-making. When connection weakens, people are more likely to withdraw, hesitate to speak up, or carry stress alone.

This webinar is designed to help you understand why connection matters in high-reliability work, recognise signs of disconnection that can affect well-being and safety, and explore practical ways to strengthen everyday workplace interactions. The focus is on building connection that supports fulfilment, trust, and safe work practices – not forced conversations or one-off check-ins.

This session is also a great lead-in to Rail R U OK? Day – 23 April 2026 – and how connection keeps us on track! The session will be recorded and we encourage sharing with teams.

Key goals:

• Understand how workplace connection influences wellbeing, job satisfaction and safety.

• Recognise early signs of disconnection that can increase stress and risk.

• Identify practical, realistic ways to strengthen supportive connections at work.
